Rigi Kaltbad is a small car-free mountain village in the heart of Central Switzerland with a village store, mini-golf course, ski lift and is located along the Kaltbad - Scheidegg panoramic hiking trail.
We are easily accessible from Weggis by cable car (10 minutes) or from Vitznau (25 minutes) and Goldau (1 hour) by Europe's first cog railroad.
The Weggis arrival option is ideal by car. It is less advisable to travel by public transport, as the walk from the boat and bus station is a steep 15-minute walk.
Once you arrive in Rigi Kaltbad, our hotel is just a 1-minute walk from the entrance and exit of the cable car station.

Arriving at the Rigi Kaltbad First station, you can reach our hotel in just 2 minutes on foot via the Rigi Kaltbad village square.

There are two covered parking garages in Vitznau, one directly on Seestrasse (100m walk to the valley station) and one on Altdorfbachweg (250m walk to the valley station of the Rigi Railway). Costs CHF 12.00/24h
From the train station in Arth Goldau, it is a 5-minute walk directly to the Rigi Railway platform. In Rigi Staffel you have to change trains to Rigi Kaltbad. This route is therefore only suitable to a limited extent.
Guests arriving by car are best advised to park in the A4 parking lot.
