Rigi Kaltbad is a car-free mountain village at 1,450 meters above sea level.
We are easily accessible from Weggis by cable car (10 minutes) or from Vitznau (25 minutes) and Goldau (1 hour) by Europe's first cog railroad.

Please note that not all mountain railroads on Mount Rigi transport bicycles/folding bikes. If you have any questions, please contact the Rigi Railways Guest Service Team on +41 41 399 87 87.
As a hotel guest, you receive a 50% discount on Rigi Railway tickets. Please purchase your tickets either at the ticket counter at the valley stations in Vitznau, Weggis or Goldau during opening hours or use the online store.
You will receive the above-mentioned discount in the online store in the selection menu PRICE CATEGORY - please select "50% reduction card" here. With the GA travelcard you travel free of charge to the Rigi.
Please note that Rigi Railways charges a service fee of CHF 5.00 for ticket purchases on the train after regular ticket office opening hours.
You will receive a bathing bag consisting of a bathrobe and sauna towel at reception. To protect the environment and conserve resources, we do not offer disposable slippers. You are welcome to use your own slippers for the mineral bath or purchase them at the hotel reception.
For our very young guests, we provide a baby crib, baby bath, night light, changing mat and diaper pail in the room. We also have a number of items for hire free of charge (subject to availability) on site: baby carriages, baby carriers, bed rails, etc.
We provide dog owners with a water bowl and a dog blanket
The Rigi is car-free. You can arrive by cable car from Weggis or by cogwheel train from Vitznau or Arth Goldau. Rigi Bahnen parking spaces are available at all valley stations and cost CHF 12.00 per day. There is no discount from the hotel on the parking spaces.
You can leave your luggage in our luggage room on the day of arrival and departure before check-in and after check-out.
To enable us to respond optimally, we kindly ask you to inform us of any allergies or intolerances before your arrival.
As an overnight guest, you will receive a free digital guest card by email approximately 1-3 days before your arrival. With the guest card, you can enjoy various discounts during your stay in the Lucerne-Lake Lucerne adventure region. You can find more information here.
At all Rigi Bahnen valley stations for CHF 12.00 per day. No discounts or pre-reserved parking spaces from the hotel.
Vitznau
There are two parking garages in Vitznau, one directly on Seestrasse and the other on Seestrasse (100 m on foot from the valley station) and one onAltdorfbachweg(250 m on foot from the Rigi Bahnen valley station). Charging stations for electric cars are available.
Weggis
There are two uncovered parking spaces available in Weggis. The parking lot P1 is located directly next to the valley station of the Weggis - Rigi Kaltbad cable car. The parking lot P2 is only a few meters away in the direction of the lake.
Goldau
The parking lot is located directly at the Goldau A4 station.
Please note that it is not possible to access the A4 station in a wheelchair. We recommend traveling from Arth-Goldau.
Freeway A4, exit (No. 38) Goldau, after approx. 200 m you will find the A4 parking lot directly on the Rigi Bahnen line.
Room
We have one room with a spacious IV bath. This room is reserved for our IV guests.
Lift
Please note that our lift is only 79 cm wide.
Mineral bath & spa
Use of the Mineralbad is only possible via the main entrance from the Mineralbad via the village square. The underground hotel passage is not barrier-free.

Dogs are not permitted in our SunSet & Panorama restaurants during breakfast and evening service, or in the wellness area.
Yes, on the day of arrival from 10:00 a.m. and on the day of departure until 7:30 p.m. (except for special opening hours over Christmas and New Year's Eve and evening events at the Mineralbad & Spa).
We do not offer disposable slippers.
To protect the environment and conserve resources, you can bring your own slippers for the mineral bath or purchase them at the hotel reception for CHF 6.50. At the reception, you will receive a bath bag containing a bathrobe and sauna towel.

Massages during pregnancy
For health and safety reasons, the Mineralbad & Spa does not offer massages until the 12th week of pregnancy.
You are welcome to book a massage from the 13th week of pregnancy onwards. If you have any specific questions, the Mineralbad & Spa team will be happy to help.
Our family rooms consist of a double room with a connecting door to a cabin bed room. Our superior rooms are equipped with a sofa bed, which are also suitable for stays with children.
To make a reservation, please contact us by phone or email and provide us with the ages of your children. Free cribs are available for babies and fit in every double room.

Our playroom with various toys is located on the third floor.
Children under the age of 16 are only allowed in the mineral bath when accompanied by an adult. The spa area with steam bath and sauna is only open to guests aged 16 and over.
Yes, your dogs are welcome to stay overnight free of charge. We kindly ask you to keep your dog on a leash.

Cancellation free of charge up to 3 days before arrival. Thereafter 100% of the booked arrangement. Other conditions apply for reservations over New Year's Eve, seminar reservations and reservations with more than 5 rooms.
Unfortunately, a non-refundable rate cannot be canceled free of charge.
Our hotel is very popular at weekends. Please understand that during this period we only book our rooms for a minimum stay of two nights. This gives us planning security and you can enjoy a few more hours with us. You will not regret it!
