The contract comes into effect upon receipt of the reservation confirmation signed by the guest. If the guest making the booking registers additional guests, he/she is liable for the entire invoice amount resulting from the reservation.
Hotel reservations for private individuals
The contract is concluded upon written confirmation of the reservation by Hotel Rigi Kaltbad. If the guest making the booking registers additional guests, he or she is liable for the entire invoice amount resulting from the reservation.

The specific services provided by the hotel are based on the reservation confirmation. If the guest requests services that are not provided by the hotel, the hotel will act solely as an agent. These services will be charged separately.
Check-in and check-out
Hotel reservations for private individuals
Reserved hotel rooms are only available to guests during the period agreed in the contract. Any other period of use requires the consent of the hotel. Reserved rooms are available for the exclusive use of guests during the agreed period from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure at the earliest. Unless a later arrival time has been expressly agreed or a payment guarantee has been provided by the client, Hotel Rigi Kaltbad has the right to reallocate the booked room after 6:00 p.m. without the guest being entitled to claim compensation. The guest has no right to a specific room, unless otherwise agreed.

Reserved rooms are available for the exclusive use of guests during the agreed period from 3:00 p.m. at the earliest on the day of arrival until 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Guaranteed rooms
Upon express request, we will hold a reserved room for a guest until 12 noon on the day following the arrival date. In order to guarantee the room, we require a credit card number. In the event of a no-show, we will charge the credit card for one night's accommodation plus fees.

If the customer withdraws from the contract, the following cancellation fees shall be payable:

If no service has been defined for banquet events, a base amount of CHF 60.00 per person will be assumed.
The date on which the hotel receives written notification of the cancellation shall be decisive for the calculation. If an event is postponed, subsequent cancellation is no longer possible. In the event of a no-show, the contractually agreed prices will be charged.

Prices are based on the confirmation or price list. Hotel Rigi Kaltbad is entitled to request a full or partial deposit for the reservation. The deposit will be credited against the hotel price owed or any cancellation fees. The hotel may also request a credit card guarantee instead of a deposit.
The deposit must be paid within 10 days or within the agreed payment period after receipt of the confirmation. If the deposit is not paid on time, Hotel Rigi Kaltbad may terminate the contract after a grace period of 3 days has expired without success and charge cancellation fees.
The guest undertakes to pay invoices from Hotel Rigi Kaltbad in full before departure or within 14 days of the invoice date. If our invoice has not been paid after 30 days, interest on arrears of 5% will be charged.
invoicing
Invoices can be sent to company addresses in Switzerland with prior written confirmation and by the company. Invoices are sent electronically. If the amount is less than CHF 1,000, payment for services is required on site. If an invoice for an amount less than CHF 1,000 is expressly requested, an administrative fee of CHF 15 will be charged.
The Hotel Rigi Kaltbad accepts payments in Swiss francs, euros, or with an accepted credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Maestro/EC). For individual payments, we charge a commission rate of 2.3% (Amexco) or 1.5% (other credit cards).
We expressly reserve the right to change prices.
Deposit for reservations with foreign company or residence

No invoices will be sent abroad. The amount in CHF is decisive.
For bank transfers, any fees must be paid by the customer.
For reservations with a foreign billing address or reservations made from abroad, a deposit of 100% of the reserved services is required up to 1 month before arrival. All other services used on site must be paid for at the hotel up to and including the day of departure.
service life

Reserved event rooms are only available to guests during the period agreed in the contract. Any other period of use requires the consent of Hotel Rigi Kaltbad.
room changes
The Hotel Rigi Kaltbad reserves the right to make changes to rooms, provided this is reasonable for the organizer, taking into account the interests of the Hotel Rigi Kaltbad.
Additional costs for setting up and dismantling seminar and event infrastructure
The Hotel Rigi Kaltbad will set up the seminar rooms in accordance with the written confirmation. Any additional costs incurred during setup and dismantling will be charged to the organizer. The organizer may have cardboard boxes, paper, and leftover conference materials disposed of on site after the event. The Hotel Rigi Kaltbad reserves the right to charge a disposal fee.
delivery
The Hotel Rigi Kaltbad has limited storage space available for materials, exhibition items, or your own equipment. Goods should be delivered as close to the event date as possible and collected no later than 7 days after the event. The organizer requires the consent of the Hotel Rigi Kaltbad for goods that are delivered in advance. The Hotel Rigi Kaltbad accepts no liability for damage during transport, storage, or theft.

The customer undertakes to inform Hotel Rigi Kaltbad of the final number of participants no later than 14 days before the event.
additional services

The prices quoted by Hotel Rigi Kaltbad for extra services and infrastructure rentals are valid as confirmed. The organizer undertakes to purchase all food and beverages consumed in the hotel or on its premises from Hotel Rigi Kaltbad.

The prices charged by Hotel Rigi Kaltbad for additional services and infrastructure rentals can be found in the seminar documentation. The seminar organizer undertakes to purchase all food and beverages consumed in the hotel or on its premises from the hotel.
Hotel liability
Banquet / Seminar / Hotel reservation
The Hotel Rigi Kaltbad is liable for guests' belongings in accordance with the statutory provisions. No liability is accepted for minor negligence. If a guest suffers damage or is dissatisfied with the hotel's services, they must report this to the hotel immediately, otherwise they will no longer be able to assert any rights. All claims against the hotel expire 6 months after the end of the contract, unless mandatory legal provisions stipulate longer periods.
Guest liability

The customer is liable to Hotel Rigi Kaltbad for all damage and loss caused by him or his guests or participants, without Hotel Rigi Kaltbad having to prove fault on the part of the customer.

Lost property will only be forwarded upon request, at the guest's risk and expense. Otherwise, the items will be disposed of after a 3-month storage period.
Euro / Foreign currencies

The conversion into euros is made at the average exchange rate.
Vouchers
Ordering process & payment
Vouchers are purchased by the customer via an online shop and must be downloaded immediately after payment has been made. Vouchers are printed out by the customer. Hotel Rigi Kaltbad is not liable for any misuse of the voucher template. Each voucher can only be redeemed once.
redemption
Vouchers can only be redeemed at Hotel Rigi Kaltbad and exclusively for the services specified there.
Cash payment or cash redemption
Vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash. Cash refunds on differences in value are not permitted.
Validity of vouchers
Vouchers are valid for 5 years from the date of issue.
Validity of accommodation vouchers
Accommodation vouchers are valid for 5 years from the date of issue. However, Hotel Rigi Kaltbad expressly reserves the right to charge any room price increases after one year from the date of issue.
loss
No replacement will be provided in the event of loss, theft, or invalidation of vouchers.
Personal information
When a contractual relationship is established, our customer's personal data, such as title, first and last name, address, and contact information (in particular telephone number and email address), is collected and processed. Our customer hereby expressly agrees to this.
jurisdiction
The parties agree that Lucerne (Switzerland) shall be the exclusive place of jurisdiction. Swiss law shall apply exclusively.
